Destiny that Ties Noah’s Ark Group and Me Together

How time flies! It has been 11 years since I was acquainted with Noah’s Ark Group. Recalling the dribs and drabs in the past time, I am chocked up with great emotions: The more twists and turns in life experience, the more profound insights on the mind. In the past few years, accompanying the company despite of rain and wind, being grateful of the help and love from the leaders and colleagues, I have annealed myself and strengthened my mind: On the way of achieving the goal, we have to challenge ourselves and endure crucifixion of all aspects, make firm self-control, strengthen confidence constantly and be brave enough to carry out heavy responsibility.

I. Being acquainted with Noah’s Ark Group
In 1996, I quit the stable job in a state-run unit; together with my family, I moved to Kunming to create a new world. I will never forget the day when I was acquainted with Noah’s Ark Group——July, 24th, 1996. That day, I came to job market in Kunming First Middle School early in the morning. When I read the messy recruitment information from various companies, an old staff from Kunming CIBA Mining Machinery Co Ltd greeted me and made some introduction of their company. After a friendly communication, I agreed to learn more concrete information about the company on August, 1st. On that day, I arrived at the company early and started working without any entry procedures after a simple learning of the products and working condition.
Facing the new environment and the strange colleagues, I once felt perplexed, confused and lonely, but the leaders poured much concern and love to me, especially Mr. Zhang Weizhong, the factory director who recruited me here, showed me great loving-kindness that would be eternally remembered in my mind. Being affected by the sincere care from leaders, the heartfelt enthusiasm switched into boundless motive force, pushing me to work with all my heart. I got a mastery of all work like technique analysis, drawing analysis, drawing design etc in a very short time, and the factory leaders were satisfied with my performance within the probation period. From then on, I was tightly bound to the factory director Zhang Weizhong, and to Noah’s Ark Group.
II. Knowing Noah’s Ark Group Well
Working with all hearts, then success is natural. In the past few years, I strenuously plowed and weeded in my operating post, growing from an ordinary machine designer, to section chief and to general engineer. I would take in good part in any work to meet the requirement of the company, and make every effort to convince the colleagues and reassure the leaders. Sometimes, I wondered: which place was my final harbor? There would be a voice in my deep heart at that time: Firm a belief, be brave to endure hardship, be ready to devote, self-promote in silence, and be generous and optimistic; then the motive force of positiveness and progress became non-depleted headwaters to moisten me and spur on me to make further improvements and achievements…….
In 1997, four colleagues and I, led by factory director Zhang Weizhong, were on business trip to Qiao Family of Zhaotong County. It was a rough journey. On the way there, we endured atrocious environment, changeable weather, inconvenient transportation, and accommodation was also a big problem to us. It was hard to find a restaurant in a whole day. He is of the Hui nationality, but it was a great difficulty to find halal food, so he did not eat with us for many times, just allayed his stomach with some food ration. Finally, we reached our destination after two days’ journey, and we felt a sense of relief at that time, but Mr. Zhang Weizhong fell ill in the stomach due to several days’ rush, severe climate and improper diet. However, he kept on working hard as usual in the following days, working with cautious and conscientious, working painstakingly, working in the mines frequently without proper diet, which resulted in deteriorative stomachache, weakening his physical immune system, then he was caught with heart disease and it worsened day by day. In the end, he passed away in Nov. 2001 unfortunately.
In the past 5 years, we often worked together: discussing technical issues, handling problems or designing ore-dressing program for customers in mines and negotiating on contracts for the company’s development. We became the best partners. Once there were some problems on customers’ equipment or some contract information, he would call me to accompany him to go on business trip and I was willing to follow him, then deep friendship was established between us. My growth and achievements were owning to help and education of this factory director. It was he who enlightened me to grasp pleasure and interest in work and taught me to behave honestly and heartily, work rigorously and selflessly, which spurred on me much. Therefore, I’d like to say, I appreciated the help and education on work, the concern and love in life he offered to me, and cherished the memory of scene when we worked together.
With development of the company, I deeply realize: Just due to efforts of the staff like Zhang Weizhong, who is earnest and down to earth, not afraid of hardship and tire, and energetic to undertake the work, who loves his job and be devoted to it, and who have integrity and be public-spirited, Noah’s Ark Group are able to make brilliant achievements today. Meanwhile, it is Noah’s Ark Group, who is confronted with countless challenges, but grows up despite of rain and wind, that colors the lives of all Noah’s Ark People.
III. Accompanying Noah’s Ark Group
Through accumulation of wealth and experience, one will realize the sharpening life. It is a delightful experience for me to be a member of Noah’s Ark Group. I felt lucky to work in an environment full of unity and mutual encourage. Thanks to the big Family, my life is fulfilling and colorful; Thanks to the big Family, I am provided with headwaters to absorb knowledge and enrich myself; Thanks to the big Family, I grow up and improve myself to be strong and mature.
Witnessing great progress of the company, I realize the importance of solid professional knowledge profoundly. I never stop learning, grasp any chance to enrich myself, and improve my professional knowledge and working competence by diligent study.
